We were amazed at the work BARS did for us. We have been having rodent problems for years. And for years we have had Killroy set traps and pick up dead animals without really helping us solve our issues. Well, that all changed on Monday when Stanley Bapu, Rodent Specialist from BARS spent 3 1/2 hours doing a free inspection in an effort to figure out where the rats were entering our crawl space. 3 1/2 hours! He was very thorough and very practical. He could have told us that we needed work in the attic and crawl space and we would have believed him. However, he said that our attic was clear and that the entry appeared to be around the foundation of our house. On Tuesday, his crew of three very professional exterminators sealed, with screen and cement, the areas suspected of being entry points. We wanted to go to war against these disgusting critters and Stanley and his crew allowed us to do exactly that. I will be very surprised if we hear any more rats in our walls but if we do, I am calling Bay Area Rodent Solutions to solve the problem.

Everyone from Bay Area Rodent Solutions, from initial phone call to job completed were professional in communications and skills. The owner even came out to provide estimate on New Year's Eve, rather than keep us waiting any longer with the destructive rodents.
The crew called on the way to punctual arrival, as courtesy. They had all tools and materials ready to complete the work.
Three men worked non stop on the mess the demon rats had made.
The house smelled better immediately after the removal of the filthy debris. After clean up they made repairs and sealed against future invasions. They faced a pack of wolf spiders living under the house with equanimity.
We added a moisture barrier for the home's protection and so anyone else asked to go under the house doesn't have to crawl through mud like they were willing to do.

AWESOME!!! Stanley the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable about rodent removal. He sent us pictures and summaries of what we needed to do in our house. His preparation and diagrams were very thorough. His crew arrived today, the most polite and kind guys that were so hard working. They even fixed another area for me that had bothered me ..... no problem.

Read favorable reviews here, called and Bryan came out to the house. We walked the perimeter of the house and Bryan pointed out a number of potential entry points and suggested I could save money by closing the access with some simple techniques myself and if that didn't work to call them and they'll come out again.

The visit and advice was free... unheard of today.

Bay Area Rodent Solutions owner Stanley Bapu conducts our rodent inspections himself. He is a licensed general contractor with 12 years of experience specializing in rodent control & exclusion.

He takes great care to inspect the entire home from top to bottom to identify all current and potential entry points for rats, mice, and other rodents.

The inspection includes: the exterior perimeter, any accessible decks and structures attached to the home, crawl spaces, basements, garages, roofs, attics and when necessary, the interior of the home.

He identifies and takes photos of all the rodent damage and entry points that he finds. He then provides a detailed report of his findings along with an estimate for any exclusion repairs, rodent removal, and sanitation that is required.

Rodent Exclusion Repairs

The next step is to make the necessary repairs to exclude rats, mice, and other rodents from entering your home or business. Our trained Exclusion Technicians make the necessary repairs following the detailed rodent report and diagram provided by the Rodent Inspector.

They carefully seal off all current and potential rodent entry points using rodent control and rodent-proof materials such as galvanized steel screen, metal flashing, and concrete to keep rats and mice from re-entering your home.

Rodent Cleanup & Sanitation Services

Our trained Sanitation Technicians remove any rodent debris and rodent contaminated materials following the Rodent Proofing Inspector’s detailed sanitation report. The technicians will remove rodent carcasses, feces, urine, nesting sites, damaged insulation, plastic vapor barriers, and any other damage or mess left by the rodents. After sanitizing and deodorizing the impacted areas, our technicians will replace the removed materials with new, up to code materials.
